Connecting communities one                  at a time

After years working in Canadian correctional facilities, Lacey founded 2Rivers Guidance. Her workshops facilitate the bringing together of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians to prompt guided conversations with self-reflection, empathy, and a sense of safety.

My roots run deep right between the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers. I am a member of the Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation and have lineage that runs into the river hills of Batoche.

I have been facilitating training and adult learning for more than 17 years and I’ve always loved it. Anyone who knows me knows that I love to bring people together, and that I will often put up my hand to organize a team building event, a celebration or my personal favourite: potlucks!

I took a leap of faith to launch 2Rivers Guidance so that I could combine my love of facilitation with my passion for helping others to deepen their understanding of Indigenous peoples and our history. I show up with an open heart and open mind and I allow others to show up the same way with the goal of a new perspective. My mission has always been to connect people and communities.
